London Bombing Campaign
The
London bombing campaign was known as the Blitz. The Blitz started September 7,
1940, the first day London got bombed it lasted 57 consecutive nights. This was
one of the most fatal bombing campaigns that happened in the war, it almost
destroyed the whole British air defense. During these nightly bombs, people
hide underground in subways and other things and slept there. There was no
privacy at all.
